Colin’s decades-long career began as an engineer and factory manager with Kelco, the granddaddy of alginates producers. Subsequently, his adventures in biopolymers have taken many turns, from hands-on work with aquaculture farmers to directing several companies worldwide. He is pleased that his current position as CTO of Macro Oceans is bringing him back to his origins in alginates.
